I'm pretty sure it just crashed while on emp_money... I lost connection and then after refreshing it said "<not responding>".

Whoa, lol, little bit too much information. I hate to see what would happen if the internet broke, and there was no pr0n to download and there was no CS or DoD to play? (And all the BOTS decided to quit)
If bots go in strike I go in to computer and pwn their lazy asses :D And if internet goes out(it was 2 days ago for about 2 days)I just play guitar or go outside, which is where I should be instead anyway.
High ping? Usually it's a pick between this server or Stormed, and I guess Stormed is in Germany because I get high ping there a lot. So today I went with the 13 ping of the Official server.
Location isn't really the issue. The server can't seem to handle large amounts of players, sending around 70%+ in to the 100-300 category.
We have the same ping Sheepe! And almost the same postcount! We must either be neighbors or brothers! Or...you could be ME!!! Oh, wait, nevermind...

Okay, you need to know: 1) Ping 2) Location of Server 3) Average Up/Down speed of user 4) Type of connection, be it cable or DSL Then you'd have a circular area that isn't exactly right either Though technically it is possible -Sheepe
I was shopping for parts to build a new server today. Dual AMD motherboard and server chassis 2 AMD Opteron 2.0 GHz (dual core) 4 gigs of ram 2 400 gig HDs It comes out to about $2700, but I need to find a colocation host first before I build it.

Krenzo, why are you opting for more space? Is it a server for the game or a server to store stuff in? If I was getting a new server for the Game Server, I would definitly go with an AMD 4000 (if AMD that is), 4 gigs of ram, and 1 80 Gb Hd (for OS) and another 200 Gb Hd (For Game Content). Btw, Seagate makes a Hd called the Barracuda that's 750 Gb for $499.99. That may be cheaper then going with 2... it depends on what you're using it for and your budget. You should ask me about some good deals, I read every ad in PC World like 8 times. Why? Because a man can dream. A man can DREAM.
lol Bojangles Krenzo, Will that server have 4 cores? (two dual cores) Is that useful? I remember some comments from another thread that only one of the cores is utilized, it's right here. Cheers!
