Linux Client Help

    I just got my new computer and everything, but I don't know how to run empires mod on linux (which I'm using).
    what should I do?

    Does Steam even work on your Linux Distro?

    There is no linux client. You might be able to run it with wine but i have never done that. Even if you get it to work, the configuration wont be optimal.

    Just setup a windows XP partition and install empires there.

    My Steam works hardly ever on WINE.

    I got it to work but it's a little laggy and it crashes after two minutes

    does it create a crashdump? try uploading it, tho i dont actually have a clue if I can do anything with it.

    I don't think it does
    it tends to freeze rather that shut down
