I quite like Audiosurf, but I haven't booted it up in a while. I like throwing random pop/rock songs in there. Some are pretty predictable, but occasionally I'd find a neat one. Also I'm totally behind audosurfing the Empires title theme.
Problem I foresee is that I don't believe i thas a proper mp3 title thingy. So it'll just come up as Unknown: Unknown EDIT: Finished tubular bells, was pretty relaxing.

Muse - Assassin Somewhat fast...ish Haven't played Audiosurf in a while, but I think Omen by The Prodigy is quite fast
A really fun song to play is Ladytron-Nothing to hide, it has a great fast bumpy downhill portion during the end full of turns.
Try "Annihilator" => "My Precious Lunatic Asylum" on hard with Iron Mode on Just don't beat my score or you'll be sorry !! Too bad it doesn't have multiplayer. I know with a fast game like audiosurf the ping is annoying, but the actual hit/don't hit part could be completely clientside making it only half as annoying.

NEVER! Audiosurf claims that it can play .ogg's just fine :<, so i will keep trying until it does, or DDoS those twats once i find out how.
Dude! Never tried that song before, and it's awesome with audiosurf! I think it beats Muse - Hysteria. Until I got my Zune HD with Audiosurf Tilt, I couldn't play Zune Pass music either...but that's fixed now :-)
