Modified: reduced bullet damage push force (0.5 to 0.25)

i wonder what if would be like with no push force

i am going to miss making the prone people on glycen fly

Knockback on glycen city was terrible. I would be hit and fly a good distance (I'd guess around 15-20 feet. Oddly enough, it saved my life a few times by throwing me behind cover.

I say make pushforce .1 or less.

Dubee once mortared me out of an MG nest; I was still alive, but I was flying through the air in prone; apperantly it looked like superman...

I landed on the other side of the glycen middle "Park" from where I was...

It gets annoying if you are shelled out of your safe place onto the streets in Disctrict..

But it becomes hilarious when you land on a mine and you kill the enemy grenadier. :D

Has anyone ever died by way of being smacked in the face by a ragdoll? I'd love to see that

Ragdolls are client-sided, and would lag like hell if done server-side. The technique used to revive people on client side is that a line is drawn between the client ragdoll and the actual place of death, and anything inbetween is a valid revive zone. Something like that :p

You still have to be near your client ragdoll for the revive to work; running across the general area and attempting to revive won't.

really really really mega important thing i've been wanting to say for a long time:

you shouldn't be able to be pushed if you are in prone.

it's silly. wouldn't happen IRL because of the friction of your entire body on the ground.

and it means that you can't fire, which is rediculous.

These forums have a built in function that can help you correct your spelling so: redicuolous turns out ridiculous.

He has a point though. It really can be annoying to be on the ground, get shot and are unable to return fire. Especially because you can't run away or go hide behind cover before you're dead.
However i haven't got much problem with knockback, apart from happening when you're in prone.

knockback looks strange because it should aply
to shooter too according to physical laws and its annoying as stated above

Also, implement a new melee icon for meleeing someone while airborne.

Here's my proposal of the icon:

If both the prone guy and crouching guy start firing at eachother at the same time with perfect aim with the same weapon, the crouching guy will win, because the prone guy will not be able to shoot half of the time due to the knock back, making prone useless unless you are taking covar, hiding, or fighting long range.

    Remove prone knockback!
