Keys Unbinding

Has anyone had issues with their keys unbinding in RC 8, or did I fix it?

 

No problems here... (except for console unbinding it )

 

30 kills as a grenadier on district, no problems. :D

 

Mines anyone?

 

Maybe 10 of 'em.

 

Someone disabled my mines slot on district, because they we're stupid enough to keep setting them off :/

the few times I played commander my use key unbound a few times so I couldn't escape commander view to move the tank. I had to bring up console and use the emp_ command to rebind it. My team actually lost a round due to that. Saw the ninja coming to my tank and couldn't move outa the damn way in time. By the time I opened my console and started typing it was over. After that I bound some keys to have the rebind commands on them. I just hope they don't get unbound.

 

Do you realize you have to set your use key in the commander profile?

 

Apart from that: Wasn't that the reason you added the logout button Krenzo?

 

I have been playing RC8 quite (/too...) long now and i cant remember a situation where my keyes got unbound. But of course i cant promise anyone that it wont happen once in future. And once it will happen i only got to press q 0 and things will be fine again.

 

I don't know it still happens now, but i always get a demo record window on my screen if i press F2, i had to rebind seat 2 to F10 to avoid it. I couldn't rebind the demo record dialog either.

 

The record dialog usually only opens when you press shift + F2, I think. Were you sprinting at the time?

 

I only press it when i'm in a vehicle, so no.

 

You automatically crouch when in a vehicle. Maybe the game THINKS you're pressing shift?

 

You only crouch in a jeep.
