Keybindings and resorting configs

    I found some keybindings and I don't know, what they are doing in Empires, I don't recognize anything happening...

    bind "key" "emp_map_arty"
    bind "key" "messagemode"
    bind "key" "messagemode2"
    bind "key" "emp_weap_mode"
    bind "key" "impulse 50"
    bind "key" "impulse 100"
    bind "key" "firstperson"
    bind "key" "impulse 201"
    bind "key" "phys_swap"
    bind_vehicle 1 "emp_vehicle_group_1"
    [...]
    bind_vehicle 2 "emp_vehicle_group_2"

    I guess at least "phys_swap" isn't in use anymore, but...well I'm not sure.



    As far as I could under the meaning and function, I resorted the keybindings within the different configs. They look now like this (only edited files are listed):

    As far, this is still in progress. When I'm finished, I hope keybinding will be more clear and customable then now (many keys can't be changed ingame with the source-ui).

    emp_map_arty - to bring up a large minimap with all the artillery targets that scouts have placed. If you don't have the artillery feedback skill, then you'll still get feedback if you hit near the target you've selected.
    messagemode - chat
    messagemode2 - team chat
    emp_weap_mode - does nothing anymore, was to switch rpg between guided and dumb
    firstperson & thirdperson - change camera viewpoint
    emp_vehicle_group_1-6 - changes selected vehicle weapon group
    impulses - don't know

    Okay, thx, then I know, in which cfg I have to put these...

    Major, have you tested the CFG and made sure there aren't any conflictions/things you left out? I was going to probably copy and paste this into the cfg so I can edit a few things and try em' out. Which CFG is this exactly?

    I'm not really ready yet. I want the different cfgs as clean as possible.
    But don't worry, as soon, as I'm ready, I'll put them online for everyone.

    Well, I've tested some impulses with sv_cheats 1 on.
    impulse 101 - Empire's wepaon system has made this unusable.
    impulse 100 - Flashlight: Still works, Krenzo, leave it in :D
    Impulse 82 - Spawn Buggy: Not sure.
    Impulse 50 / 201 - No idea, I'll look into it.

    And Krenzo hit the rest right on the head, just with 1 typo(Forgot the 2) ;)

    So this is for arty only? Or does a mortar can use this too?

    Okay, understandable.

    Yeah! I want a night-map...

    Now, this could be interessting, but...no, isn't interessting for my config.

    By the way, impulse 201 is spray logo.

    He left out the 2 is "messegemode2" that is for Team Chat.

    That's what I meant by he get it all right with just one typo.
