I consider Skrillex the closest thing to Dubstep I can actually stand, even if it's not really Dubstep. But that's because Dubstep is boring.

 

Progressive house is just nice to listen to. Dubstep is nice because of the bass focus in it.
Sadly, 99% of what people call dubstep today isn't dubstep.

dubstep is just like wahwahwahwahwahwahwubwahwubwubwubwahwahwah waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah wahwawhhawhwahawhwahhwahwahwubwubwub, it clearly does not live to it's name of being a mixture between dub, which sounds like reggae, and drum and bass. Good job england with your 2-step garage garbage, filling my facebook with retarded status updates about shit music.

 

Yeah but we also invented Drum and Bass, which makes up for it 10x over.
