June 22 2007 - Super Fun PUG!

There will be another Pick-up game this week.

Hopefully all those who have been having trouble getting Empires to work can figure stuff out and join the game this week.

Like always, the games are at 19:00gmt and 19:00est on the official server. I suppose this week we'll be testing the newest RC 13 patch on a full server, so maybe Krenzo can get some good info from that.

I'm sure we all know the drill now, show up and have fun

Bodrick will be holding a Jeep Race an hour before the GMT PUG, so if you want to race, join him in setting up walls and mines and additional pylons, then race yourself silly

The race will be an awesome display of jeep might, if not too many people show up. I will NOT miss the race. However, I worry TOO many people will attend and make it difficult. But I'm not gonna stress about it.

We need to be able to have a driver and someone riding shotgun, that way BE and NF can duke it out while racing, mario kart style. That would be cool if properly managed (i.e. nerfed so not everyone dies in the first 30 seconds)

 

That happened yesterday on slaughtered, the game took hours, lots of racing, lots of mining, people were using rocket launchers, armor piercing bullets on APC's, and they were bumping on eachother.
If you look closely in the videos Bodrick posted, you see an NF jeep miss a turn and drive off into the water. That was me.

 

and remember NF, change seats. if the driver is blocking your shots, move!

We need a search and destroy race, with jeeps with normal engines, and LTs with 3-phase, and the jeeps have a head start.

 

Now if you europians would just stay up late enough to get your ass kicked buy us Americans who have a job.:p
