woo 3 and a half hours to go! for all those that don't know, a PUG is a 'pick up game', where everyone joins the server. people keep asking me what PUG is. ----- can you set the server to do mainly maps that don't get played a whole lot, I can't remember EVER playing crossroads on a PUG.
I think we need a different name, pick-up game isn't exactly accurate. How about COM (Community Organised Match)? Too similar to comm? CASH - Community-assisted server hammertime?
I'm missing some good fight at the moment and I have to ready through these forums before I can join the PUG.

Well that was great fun I feel a lot better about the weapons now and I still can't get over just how cool the tank flipping explosions are
nah my girlfriend comes tomorrow (today, saturday, whatever) ONTOPIC: Very fun few hours, but the crashing is really annoying..
It sucked AND it was great. Sometimes I found my teammates wandering around doing amazingly stupid things, not listening to me, making me want to tear my head off with my bare hands. Other matches were really fun and full of teamwork, especially those that nearly ended in a draw. Unfortunately every match didn't have an end at all, since the fucking server kept crashing. I raise my hat to Headshotmaster for being an excellent commander. Whenever he lead my team, we totally overwhelmed the enemy, and he didn't fail once. I wish I would've had my microphone working too; I could have screamed at my team to do whatever is plain simply fucking necessary. Again, kudos to you, Headshotmaster. I'm also proud to have witnessed the single most extreme grenade spamming session in the history of Empires. On emp_district, the BE team got pushed back to the last flag, and I was with them. Our tickets were gone, but we got a couple of Level 3 MGs built. Then, everyone - yes EVERYONE, the 20 of us - sat behind the shield wall near the ammo box, and spammed the NF with grenades as quickly as humanly possible. It looked like RAIN, or a fucking swarm of bees flying in the air. We nearly made them run out of tickets, but unfortunately the lump of soldiers that was our team, got a few NF nades thrown right in the middle of us, and BOOM. Then NF rushed. Epic failure.
I'm not 100% sure where Silk was when he tossed those, but I bet he was one of the people who used our human ladder to get inside your building :D teamwork FTW!
