Barbershop is not a clan, clans are for ego trip maniacs. We got 50 players compared to at-least a thousand before. A scrim is an exclusionary event, leaving people out because they are not apart of the secret club is a dick move. A pug would make everyone happy because its a competitive atmosphere and nobody is left out. Your line of thinking is outdated and doesn't work anymore.
Clans provide a hierarchy and the people of are apart of such systems crave to be recognized and advance. They accept orders because they want to bark them in the future.
And thank god for that. I would of auditioned for JPL if everyone wasn't dead. BSID was the only one I saw active when I became a regular.
Or perhaps they join clans because they want to play the game with like-minded players at a higher level.
1. It's a bit ego centric to try really hard not to be ego centric. 2.ok 3.rofl pugs are competitive? People are left out because they aren't playing for a team, scrims are meant for keeping score what point is there in having a pug no one cares who wins. 4.how can it be outdated if that's how literally every competitive game is played? Do you think teams for csgo/dota/cod just group random people together and make them play each other? No pug, it's a scrim. Get ringers.
ok ok 6 vs 6, thats going to be so much fun versus a 40 player game. Dota has match making, CSGO has match making, and Cod has match making. So yes it is random people playing. I don't have to do a damn thing, Sitka is in charge. I may not even be there because of Jury duty. And yes they are forcing me to come in on a sunday, its complete bullshit.
Matchmaking is for pub games... And I'll take a high level 6v6, should be a good watch and a chance to see some cool strats and skills.
That sucks. Anyways I was referring to competitive play not matchmaking. Like e"sports" and amateur tournaments.
BigTeef I play every other weekend Sitka plays once or twice a month Lazybum plays daily Senor plays once or twice a month JGF plays daily Maybe Candles, and hes busy. Oh yeah "high level" thats a good one. It's going to be one sided like last time, this is just a prelude to spike challenging FN, then the real scrim starts. I am just another damn stepping stone like last time.
CW had (well, has, I guess) hierarchy, but it never was like you described. Most people who got promoted were like..."oh, nice", and that was about it Except for me. Mine was more a wtf kinda thing.
But you are more organised than during an average pub match. Sure rust is going to kill you vs Catface, Jane and Spike (and the others), but at least you will go down trying to do the right thing.
