Jeeps- Nitro

Similiar to BF2142s jeeps, would it be possible to get a boost function for jeeps in empires? To help you blaze past that last line of missile turrets, that sort of thing. It could probably either come with all jeeps or require a special engine, either one works.

 

I think 3 phase engines on jeeps can outrun missiles.

 

You can edit the script files and add turbo yourself, it was fun doing that with all the vehicles, but it just doesn't fits in the empires universe.

Well, unless you consider 360° frontflips and bouncing tanks good, it doesn't fit.

I think one of the engines should get nitro, and one boost. boost is a one off burst of speed like the HL2 one, and gives you a chunk of heat,

and nitro, or just overdrive if you want to call it that, gives you a consistantly better speed while you hold down the sprint button, but gives you heat gradually.

 

How about fision engine? and the nitro adds heat to the vehicle? I mean, it's not like an engine with extra horsepower is needed anymore

Just either get fission engine or 3-phase engine and you have a mountain climber in a form of vehicle. I prefer taking NFs LT or APC with 3-phase if I fancy to climb some mountains.
