It's a choice really, wether to make it pretty or available for everyone. It will get rants both ways. Right now you will not be able to play it if you don't own Half-Life 2.
I think you should make it pretty (use modded HL2 textures so there are no "STOLEN TEXTURES!!!" comments), and available for everyone (include the textures in the download). Otherwise, it looks perfect!
HL2 stuff comes with the source SDK, if you have CSS, TF2, Ep1, Portal, you still have every resource in HL2. Except maps and NPCs.
Everything blight touches turns to gold. Awesome stuff. Blight makes awesome lighthouses by the way. You'll see.

You can use HL2 textures, and it will work fine for anybody that has HL2 installed. However, since this game only requires a Source game, they could have CSS and still play (from what I know), therefore not EVERYBODY will have these textures. And including these textures in the map would be illegal so that anybody can see it no matter what is illegal, so I would say just keep it to Empires or your own textures.. :/

Also a razortrain moves through the map and you go under it at 2 points in the map.
He makes awesome Blighthouses, not Lighthouses. And I'll put this up on emp4all/napalms as soon as its done, and Il arrange 48 player playtest to really put it through its paces.
Nachos is going to convert the testing server one day a week to a race server. Kinda like a race night.
map reminds of me hl2 chapter... hmm looks awesome, though i can hardly see it working with current way of driving a jeep (2.3 -better jeep driving system [or sth ] hmm?)
Ive finished the track and its now a circuit. I have to configure it for empires now. The map already has a large open space to put vehicle factories that will respawn instantly after being destroyed. Im thinking of having flags in an unreachable place and just let ticket bleed end the map. Also you will only be able to spawn jeeps because I plan to unresearch the apc, lfv and lt. (I hope thats possible). Engineers will not be able to place anything and I maybe even put in a weaponstripper in to stop killing all together. You know, my services are open Blight, after all a modeler needs his practice =D. Only problem is for some reason I can't compile for 2.12, but 2.2 apparently works.
