There is one thing that has been annoying me for quite some time about this mod. Not really a big thing, but it makes no sence to me at all. The thing being: Nf's tall structures (barracks and repair) compared to Brens low profile versions... Imo it should be the other way around as NF: small group who would want to stay concealed, guerilla tactics and whatnot... and BE: Grand empire who would want to flaunt their great empires achivements with tall structures of grandeur or something. How does this affect gameplay you ask? Well it's quite obvious, BE can build a fwd base/repairstation protected by walls or concealed by terrain, whereas NF's structures are far to tall to be protected or concealed... Now, don't get me wrong, great mod, great models, it's just that it seems a little biased towards the brenodi in this area.
Yeah, the NF barracks is a giant freakin' bullseye out there on the battlefield. It's impossible not to hit. It is quite literally the broad side of a barn. I agree, it would be nice to see the building profiles a bit more balanced.

It's referable to BE being a huge ass tanker, whereas the NF are the little Greenpeace dingies that get barrels of toxic waste thrown down upon them. The NF lacks in just about every area (not vehicle, unlike Greenpeace) and a winning is largely dependant on either skill, or Light Tanks. I'm a BE man, but I want a fair fight.
But I love rocketsniping the barracks from the other side of the map :D na, I'd love to see more balance in structure, just so rocketsniping is harder.
hay , thats what the nf barracks can be , just like you said - a barn ! the nf ride into town and commandeer the local farm barn ! , and turn it into a northen faction recruitment center. - and the larger barns are turned into vf's - Silage/silo's are emptied and are turned into a radar , after a radar is stuck on top - fertiliser storage areas are turned into geothermal storage tankers for money yay , i'v got it all worked out - hay , i should put this into the storyline thread !
From no on on, I dub the NF Barracks "Barms"!!! And yeah, they look a little farmish... Aside silo, barms and refineries all built with the same metal.
I'd either give it more health or make it more resistant against tank shells and grenadier rockets/mortars. Nades would be the same. And make the second level of the NF Barracks actually useful, give them fireports or something.
Yeah, if they're that big, why not give barms or vehicle barms a second floor with windows to fire out of?

Oh wow, as you can clearly see, those scavanger bunkers are made from discarded material, NF structures seem to be made from scrap metal. Blah, blah, meek connection, i'm done
I would agree with this... The nf seem to be compensationg for almost everything with the size of their structures...
