Exactly. You should've banned him for a day or two without warning. Then somebody else could've decided if the ban should be removed/lengthened/etc. Instead, you kept prodding him and he took the bait.

The final result is the same, he's banned. Yet now you also get a few posts and threads containing "fag", "gay" and other potentially rude comments. If you really don't like it when your sexual orientation is abused, then I would think that you would like to minimize such posts. If not, then you made the right decision.

 

I, for one, welcome any initiative to get this forum moderated.

 

To be honest, the preset infractions being 10 days long doesn't help. I bet Blizzerd would still have used them if they were 3 days long.

commie challenged the moderation, he kept pushing it and each time he got an infraction for 10 days

on thread nr3 he got banned (since 3 individual infractions = automatic ban untill its reduced to 2, for example when 1 of his infractions run out)

but he was cool enough to make another thread before i could give his 3th infraction, thus he has 4 infractions (and then trickster revoked the last, thinking i accidentally gave him 1 more but it really doesn't change anything)

im just using standardised infraction methods btw, i did not pick the 10 days its stock
