A descrete bug (I think). <Person> attacked me, we both have identical research and the same amount of light fighters. Yet we have different weapons/shielding/armour values. I don't know enough about ogame to know if its a feature that the defender has higher armour and shields, but less weapon damage. Also the battle report said I won, yet it displays in a unfriendly red in my message box implying I lost (scary when you see a supposed lost battle in your inbox).
Would it be possible to include transfers of resources between players? You could add a "galaxy government" tax of 10% to control it. (i am thinking on some bribing scenarios :p
trading resources is on a trust based busness if you dont trust a person, tell him to cut the transfer in like 5 waves, and make your goods also come in 5 waves to arrive at roughly the same time for each wave this way when he screws you over, you only lose like 1/5th of the resources involved max (you pull back the fleets if he is not true and sending empty cargos or whatever)
Hey you know what I love even more than trading and building mines......raiding! Please get a fix soon
they represent spent resources divided trough 1000 with some other small effects mixed in or something like that ignore it, doesnt mean anything (a person could have spent all his resources on building 555 research lab level and not researched anything, or research all his ships tech to really high but not have any ships, or even just research graviton a few times (only the first level actually "does" something, so its just for show) edit; what is the max colony limit? what about lowering so newbies can get in the game quick without older more experienced players being able to jump ahead massively (it will still be like this to an extent, but less) ? lower colonies means more money is in 1 place + people will have a lower "planet production cap" that is, only until the game gets a decent player base additionally i would try to keep players in 1 galaxy (like the biggest counter on locations) people hiding there main in a really far region so they can see the enemy coming from afar and stuff like that is silly
Basically, this ship stats seem screwed up however. 2 small cargos are worth 2 points, like it was counting every ship you have as 1 point.
Looking at the composition of different points can give you a decent idea of what someone is doing. You also get invisible points for stuff as well. LF produce the most points per cost as you get 3 for the 3k metal spend 1 for the 1k crystal and then another fleet point. Mines are second then stuff like research tends to be last due to the high deut usage. edit: sorry rockets are actually the highest.... 3 points per 2k metal iirc
What "invisible points"? Why LF? Assuming theown is using some bizzare stats that give you pts both for res spend AND for every ship in fleet, probes are the "most cost efficient" ship. Explain. Also, was d cost not covered in stats?
