it's definately reminicent. It even has some NS sounds Will need to read the manual some time though. I don't understand a bit of it ^-^
I'm thinking II is gonna lose a lot of players cause their guide is in an annoying format (PDF). And even if it's in HTML, it's not in-depth, i still don't know how Queen vs Queen works.

Wow. Two patches right after the release. The 1.01 patch didn't cure the jamming I've been experiencing with this mod(it plays well for 15 seconds then it becomes unresponsive for 5 seconds and then works another 15 seconds and then hangs again), I hope that the 1.02 patch does.
Cactus damage from 20 to 15, does this mean less spammage for those retarded stale mates? XD. Termites defencive shrooms need fixing, ants can walk around and past termites bases easily as long as they keep moving becuase of the termites slow defencive projectiles. And than cactus you have to barrage or mass attack to get past =.=
Played for a little bit, found it amazing to look at and an interesting concept. If it weren't for the fighting there'd be a sense of calm about it (Just snatching what someone said ingame ). I dislike the DOM mode, it's mostly stalemated and I've yet to see one of those rounds finish. Not to mention that certain termite shroom (Coprinus) that attacks with roots, so frustrating in a choke point D: Love the II portion though. Not exactly user friendly, but awesome nonetheless.
I played it I tried it and here is what I think: They need to town down the fighting; I would be perfectly content running around building stuff and making a buggy Empire... This mod looks like it has alot of promise, and for the first release it passes; but there are alot of fatal bugs; like getting stuck in between shrooms, the queens sinking below the map... Just like empires this has alot of potential...
