in lieu of 2.2's eminent arrival, i would like to bring up the subject of wall height. in 2.0, when an engineer or the comm dropped a wall, it was at a height where it was able to serve as a barricade over which a CROUCHED soldier could shoot for added cover and accuracy. after the introduction of the new wall models, walls in empires 2.12 are initially TALLER than those in 2.0. this prevents soldiers from shooting over them crouched (unless the wall is placed on a slope), and also makes using walls to create more advanced fortresses obsolete. i hope that in 2.2, walls will start out at the height that they did in 2.0 tall enough to cover a crouched soldier, but short enough to be fired over.
Nahhhh NF walls are the SHIT They give perfect cover for the engy laying them, however BE walls usually catch all outgoing bullets and that is if you can even see over them... They need to be lowered a bit
