I wrote the first half of the story, Empty finished it. Love his idea for the duel.

What if a bodyguard wants to kill the commander?

 

Like when cpatton was com, he need to reveal himself and say that the commander is an infil ...

then they can both be killvoted, first the bodyguard then the com

 

surely you can "step down" as bodyguard. not do your job if you choose to.



so basically, everyone abstains. we either get no commander (good for base crew) or an infil will vote for an infil. the bodyguards step down, to prevent us having to kill base crew, and we kill the infiltrator who would be commander. in exchange, the infiltrator would get 2 kills, one imidiately as soon as they enter the cv after being voted in, and they can declare a double kill when we vote to kill them the next day, but we'd only vote for the commander. Then another infil would have to reveal himself by voting for one of the base crew in that vote so that there is someone else to qualify for the doublekill.

the plan is really good. we just need everyone to abstain their vote for commander

 

You can still kill the commander through voting, he's only safe from rifleman/infiltrators at night.

If a bodyguard wants the commander dead, that sucks, but he can still vote against him during the day.

Oh, and I've decided the abstain rules don't apply to comm votes. Regardless of what voting occurs, a commander will be elected.

I'll flip a coin for ties.

Well it kinda screws you guys over if you don't pick a comm, since the infiltrators will pick one regardless, and I doubt you guys will kill the comm on the next day.

The people I find supsicious are the ones that are obsessed with becoming a commander...

 

I see, but i really don`t care, an infil don`t need to beg for votes, he just get voted without any effort ...
