i was flicking through FPSbannana.com and saw the sheild for counter strike, and ive been thinking, what about sheilds that can protect you from bullets and reduce blast damage. In effect this would reduce the effectiveness of Arty against infantry and scouts.
I don't think this would be very usefull, instead sandbags would fit alot better :p Riot shields are usualy only for civilian targets (Crows Controll) so that what ever they throw at you doesn't land on your shiny uniform... Do you ever see modern military (Not police or swat) using shields... the trade of isn't worth it they would rather not be seen at all instead of blocking bullets... Best armor is not getting hit at all
