Guys, this is a bad suggestion. Where does the food come from? For realism's sake, we better have also implement a farmer class. He could have a ho hoe to harvest his hotdog crops. The farmer would need a bullet-proof greenhouse to grow his hotdogs in. The greenhouse could also provide spare hoes in case the farmer throws them at his enemies. Seems pretty balanced to me.

I'm not sure how I feel about this. On one hand, it would basically make Empires into Command and Conquer, the FPS, but on the other, it might be tedious.
