i want auto reload back!!!!!!!!!!!

is it just me or are there others??????

 

Personally I prefer auto reload off but this should really have been an option, not forced =/

 

I kind of hate it and I kind of like it.
It shouldn't be an option for weapons that don't have a melee attack(Rifles.) and be optional for the other weapons... Maybe even the ablity to set each weapon up on it's own(Your weapons auto-reload execpt your Buckshot pistol.)

Just a thought.

I think the Halo system would work well. Only problem would be that you'd have animations messed up (taking mag out, beating person with a rifle with a mag in magically etc.)

 

or you could beat them with the mag too :-)

I hate not being able to auto-reload

 

Auto-reload made me cry. And it's not like doing it manually takes more than 2 seconds, but I guess it should be an option. Doesn't CS have something similar?

 

I don't care. You press the r button. Less than a second wased. Big deal.

 

I can train myself to get used to autoreload OFF. I just have to remember to jam on the r button when as soon as I empty my clip. HOWEVER, I can't train myself to not autoreload if it's automatic. I like it like this; it gives me the option to melee if the need be.

 

Yeah, I can get used to it, but more often than not, I've found myself zoomed in with the assault rifle trying to shoot while out of ammo. I'd get out of cover, and and up dead Oh well, I'll adapt.

 

I would rather have no autoreload as opposed to being forced to reload but the option would be nice.

 

Maybe make the rifle make a really loud clanging noise when it's empty, like the garand rifle on DoD, except in reverse... or something. I don't know.

 

1.06 should have a toggleable option for autoreload.

 

That is a good idea. Give the weapons an "End of Clip" sound. I hate when I'm useing the Ranged Rifle and after a few shots, I get a great lead and time it perfect, but when I fire, nothing, not even an empty click.

So, my suggest is:
1. Optional Auto-Reload for selected weapons and for weapons with no melee ablity.
2. End of Clip sound. Loud-ish clang when the last bullet is fired, much diffrent than the firing sound, then a softer clang if you try to fire after the End Clip shot.

 

i would rather auto-reload or at least an option.
for some reason my reload always doesnt work when i press it, so i often have to rely on the auto reload to do it for me.

can't there just be an 'instant' melee? i.e. you hit even if u weren't reloading, but you just have to reload again? i mean if you really were in the middle of reloading and u needed to hit someone, wouldnt you just drop your ammo and make do?

 

i personally like auto-reload and i was surprised that it wasn't made optional, but i'm sure this will be revised in 1.06

 

It deffintaley needs to be optional.

I have got a few melle kills, but no one in their right mind melees unless its absoloutely the last option you have

 

And in the rare case you are close enough to do so.
