1/16th scale gameplay is for aircraft, not for standard vehicles and infantry gameplay.

I think at least some 2x maps would be good for some vehicle battles, I'd like them being bigger

Mines would be as big as the vehicles and guns would be massive on the hands of their holders! I WANT THAT IN NOW!

At least you really should be able to switch that on whenever you want to mess around.

 

Me as well. I'm afraid a lot of other people wouldn't like bigger maps though (for normal battles).
Me on the other hand, i'd definately want to try it out. Agreed you can't walk to the other side of the map anymore, but face it you'll only have to get to the front, which should have barracks, or at least a few apc's nearby. Maybe even x4, but that's as far as i'd go for tanks and infantry games.

 

The scale setting is serversided, and not completely finished.

 

You will have to provide your own engine noise sounds "Vrrrrroooommm!"

Broccoli, if your character weighs enough at that scale to press down that pressure plate...you have bigger things to worry about....In fact, you could hide behind that mine and use it as a little fort, or sniper pad...the possibilities of normal sized stuff at that scale....Butter might finally be able to get into that little room in the NF repair pad...

You could use that bush behind it as a forrest.....then what about the normal trees...OMG BIG TREE!!!!! and also look at the grass texture, one blade is about the same diameter as a tire on the LT
o noez.....

 

You could camouflage mines as BE repairpads, then fool BE tanks to think they can repair themselves on it.

I just used garry's mod with the empires models. I got bored one day and attempted to make a x16 map for future enjoyment on empires

Thinking of rats maps, whats about a rats map taking place in a BE base

 

Oh man, NF are scaled to 1/16, and BE are normal sized and have to stop NF from reaching some sort of panel through rat holes?
