Or one that can be played efficiently with the laptop thingy. My computer died yesterday and I won't get my new setup until at least Friday of next week so I'm stuck with my brother's spare laptop. The thing is pretty old so it can't really run many games and since it's using xp, it puts some of hte more retro games out of the picture soooo any freeware, game that can be played well with a laptop would be just swell
Thanks but preferably not fantasy, medieval or super complicated that you have 40 training missions to go over just the basic features
http://www.gamehippo.com/ this place have a whole lot of freeware stuff. As an alternative you could also use your time training your skillz in Paint or having fun with the calculator.
awww, I was gonna recommend wesnoth. umm... does ascii count? it's turn based. Linley's Dungeon Crawl is fun.
Worms FTW! I can never stop playing Worms: Open Warfare 2 on my DS. Especially with the map editor that lets me make crazy race-gamemode maps with infinite ninja ropes that take half an hour to complete. There's this little kid game on http://play.lego.com/en-US/default.aspx (Dont critisize me) which got me hooked, it's called the Nightfall Incident and it kept me entertained for a good two days. Don't bother with any of the other games though, they suck so bad it makes you laugh to play them.
Hurrah! I shall pick up gunbound again. Been a while since I played that :D Tried playing Final Liberation earlier but unfortunately, it doesn't work well with newer operating systems
I was playing jagged alliance 2 a month ago, its not much fun when you know a lot of the dialogs ;o I suggest SPACE EMPIRES VI
