Foxy: Mortar 1 shot, no good! Empty: lol no, it does 92. Foxy: ...How long does it take to switch to pistol? Empty: bout a second. Foxy: Then they'll mortar and switch to pistol. Its close enough to one shot. Empty: Naaaah. Mortar flies to fast! ^ Last night. v This morning. This happened at least 7 times in half a game of streets of fire, and with the new BEHR that fires like you're only using one hand, gren's are running around killing more inf then I saw them killing (or attacking) tanks. Apparently the BEHR is meant to be 'close range', but currently its 'duct tape the barrel to the enemy, and you might hit them on the first shot.' or 'stay back at the edge of visual range, and just wait for the aim to settle down'. Not acting like much of a rifle.
Foxy, if you can't use the BEHR properly, then I'm really, really, REALLY disappointed, and can only guess that you're a seriously overrated rifleman, because I'm having absolutely no issues gibbing people at almost max visrange with it. If anything, the BEHR is hideously overpowered.
Nono. Thats my point. You can really only use it at max range. At mid range, in a burst of about 4, your bullets don't group anywhere near each other. Maybe I need to play more cautiously in this new version, but when a gren can easily 1.5 shot you, you can't really afford to be slowly picking each shot.
Heavy rifle bad? You mean the gun that only has like 30 rounds right? that thing is a pew pew lazer. I don't get it. Guns useful at a range shouldn't be dead accurate by any means at close range. Grab an assault rifle, it's what they are for.
At mid-close range, you can just spew bullets at people so quickly that they drop. You might not know this seeing as a lot of people haven't noticed, but the weapon has absolutely no moving penalty on accuracy at all.
behr and smg2 are pure rape at close range, you dont need to aim, you dont need to stand still just fire till it drops.
behr is the most powerful weapon in the game now with perfect prone accuracy no matter what, good running accuracy, and a large clip, so if you can't use it then that's pretty sad
If you're going to prone and stay in one spot to use a weapon, you might as well take the HMG. 2 rax is my idea of short, 4-6 is medium. Basicly, if you can easily tell what class it is before they shoot back, you're too close.
Except you should? The point of it is to encourage you to push up, not camp like a little girl. Less battlefield, more quake.
