How many people have played empires in the last few weeks?

Based on our server stats, 681 of 1,230 players are ranked. So we had at least 1,230 differnt players on at any given time in the 3 weeks we have been up. Just thought you would all like to know.

 

Well I haven't really played in like in a month or so, mainly because ever since that day I came back home & found 7 trojans in my computer afer my dad finished using it, I've kinda been paranoid to play online for the fear of getting VAC banned. I do log into my Steam account every day though.

 

i wonder what he was using it for to get so many trojans...

i havent played in like 1 month also, mostly because i dont have it on this comp. i keep thinking of getting it, but than i realize that the only thing i want to play is BE riflleman cuz that gun is so accurate, but BE is always stacked

 

I usually fit in a few hours of playtime every couple days.

 

I havn't played in a while - maybe 2 months or so.

To be honest, I'm waiting for the aircraft to be added. Altough I'll play at least for a while when the prone - ironsight update comes out.

And this might sound crazy, but I've found myself to be too old (which can't be since I'm 19) to learn Empires quickly enough to be a good commander. Everyone was already talking about this is better and that isn't any good, and I still had no clue about what was the best to do in a given situation. But I CAN follow orders, not that I understand the tactical idea behind it, but I'll do it.

Oh and I suck with vehicles, I'll follow orders as long as I can do them on foot. I can't kill even one light tank when I'm in a heavy one.

 

I haven't played since I buggered up my install by not backing up the regular install when I installed a certain beta for a certain empires related thing...

 

My inner child loves Empires... I'm playing rarely these days, mostly because of the scout rifle. It gives me headache, it makes me angry. I don't want to play angry... thus I don't play too much.

 

We're trying to remove the scout rifle on the BSID server, but it's proving an annoying task.

 

havnt played in ages since i format pc just havnt got around re installing some stuff.. and plus the download file is on the linux server which is offline for the time being

Because you don't have good scout in clan or what?

 

I'm a good scout, as is eth0 and Raged. I just feel that it doesn't do shens to add in teamwork; most new players just camp, while they could be playing together with other people, which is also very fun.

The rest just hardly plays it, so I dunno about their 'skills' with it.

 

I dont mind the other team full of noobs

playing with yourself is definitly loads of fun :D

 

Personally, seeing as your server is one of the most popular in the game, I think it would be somewhat irrisponsible or rude to remove an element of the gameplay; a fact that means that many new players will never get to use the scout rifle.

I also think the scout rifle can be anoying, but there are times when it is certainly required, and It adds depth to the game to have them included.

 

Nerf the scout rifle.

Yeah, I spent a good solid week improving my ability to fly a jeep.

 

I havnt played video games for months O.O... Waiting for bloody supreme commander and spore... and Wii, or ironsights/blimbs in empires (whichever comes first)
