39!!!!! that's rediculous! It was around 28 here today and I was dying, it was really muggy too. Can't stand the heat, I've got to start going to the arctic in the summers
There's a record heatwave in Kansas. I should know, I spent most of it outside slaving away in the heat. The TWO WEEKS out of the entire year I visit, and they're the hottest. But, really, all this news about heatwaves and record highs and flooding record numbers of tornadoes and whatnot is only a suprise to those of us who ignore global news and science in general
It's been 100 Fahrenheit for the past two days here in Sacramento. Doing errands has NOT been fun. Okay, well, Fry's was fun. But cars... No.
here in texas we havent had a summer this cool since the 70's according to the news. hell, it hasnt even hit 95 yet, and probably wont.
At some point out in Winnapeg the temperature hit 40C and people were saying in just about 5 months they'll be down to -40 Not a place I'd like to live
I kinda think that calling Sacramento "Sacto" is a bit like calling San Francisco "Frisco." Only people who don't live there call it that, and when they go there and use the word people hit them in the face. Hey, my parents and some family friends will be heading through Placerville tonight, though. They're going up to our cabin at Wrights lake. I'll tell them to throw stuff at you if they see you. ...They'd probably do it, too.
yes thats why i said sacto lol sacramento to me is a city that wanted to be apart of the bay area but couldnt so decided to be the state capitol instead
El Dorado Hills SUCKS. It's full of stuck-up McMansion fags. Why the FUCK did you move to the country if you've got two feet between your house and the edge of your property? I live on five acres of... uhm... brown dead grass and oak trees! AND IT'S FREAKING AWESOME! I never have to walk my dog, because my dog walks herself! I can turn my spiffy new (and free) 5.1 system up... AND THE NEIGHBORS CAN'T HEAR IT! Well, I've been keeping it reasonable thus far, but you get the idea. Oh, yes, there's only been one crime in the fourteen years I've lived on the street I'm on. Someone's ex-wife broke into her ex-husband's house. So. Yeah. The boondocks of P-Ville rule.
