how do you get third person view in vehicles

the title is self explanitory , how do you get a third person viewpoint in vehicles ?

I use cam_command 1 in my videos. It's a cheat cvar though.

You can also use cam_idealdist; cam_idealyaw; and cam_idealpitch to change camera distance and angle.

There's also Gmod menus that have a 3rd person GUI, where you can adjust everything easily. Just use Gmod, that, and load up a map (and assuming you have a menu with the Empires models) load up a jeep and drive around.

That's how I would do it...

 

Mess with gravity for sensationally jumpy goodness.

 

But that's cheating

 

and the jeep movement is completly different
