How Do I Start the Game?

Sry for sounding stupid and all, but how do i start the 2.25 game? I got the svn, put it under empirestest in the sourcemod, i updated and everything, all 1.3 gigs of it, but i cant find out how to start it the game? Help plz.

 

Restart Steam, doubleclick on Empires SVN.

 

Ive restarted it a couple of times, and no icon like that has showed up. It has all my games, including empires, but not the svn. Did i really put it in the wrong place or something?
This would be the correct place, right?
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\EmpiresTEST

 

The path is correct, if you have the gameinfo.txt (and all the other files) right in this folder it should show up in Steam.

 

Yea, i have all that info, but its not showing up on steam? How to get it on steam? I tried looking for an executablie in the folders, but there was nothing, so i guess i need to find a way to put it on steam.

 

Well, yes and no i guess. The actually folder location is this, i think its ok.
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\EmpiresTEST\empiresTEST
The second folder is the actual svn. The game text is in the 2nd folder.

Weird. Well, there is no space in the name of the 2nd folder, its just the way it showed up.

 

try to copy the second folder to C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\
and delete the other one and it should work.

 

paths should be like this:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\EmpiresTEST\gameinfo.txt
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\EmpiresTEST\BIN
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\EmpiresTEST\cache
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\EmpiresTEST\cfg
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\SourceMods\EmpiresTEST\etc...,etc..

BTW: why it maked space in gameinfo.txt?
