HL2 or HL2DM?

    I gots me a question....does Empires run on HL2 or HL2DM? I am currently making my way to totally rebuying all of my games on steam, and i only have hl2 at the moment. If its only hl2dm, is there a way to run it on HL2?

    at the moment I think it's hl2dm but 1.08 will be using the sdk base thingy so I'm guessing owning any source game will do.
