HL 2 crashes on team select

Hi guys

1.08 crashes when i try to choose a team , the team selection box also goes off the screen.

Any suggestions?

Send crash dump. (file located in steam/steamapps/sdk base/. If there's anything specific that might cause crash explain it in email (bugs@empiresmod.com)

do the files have the extension MDMP?

Yes, .mdmp. (There's more info in sticky topic in Bugs section)

 

I deleted the MDMP files in both the half life death match folder and the source SDK folder so i could be sure the one i generated was correct , then when i went to run the game it works fine!

I dunno if doing this could have fixed it or if maybe messing around with resolution / graphics settings did it.
