hey all is it only me or do the hitbox really have problem in this game? seriously guys Dev and tester thats should be the first priority cause right now hitbox make the game unrealistic and annoying. example: you play another 3d shooter *to be franc any other 3d shooter got better hitbox* you come back to empire shoot 4 diferent ppl in head and none die well thats pretty bad no? headshot should kill not pass tru like there is nothing. at this point i would recommend to simply remake the hitbox from scratch *ground zero* i dont know how much time its would take but its one of the reason many ppl dont play much anymore or dont stay to play
If you say "headshot should kill" you mean that code should be changed not hitboxes. If you notice any weird behavior of hitboxes check them in HLMV or at least report precisely what is happening with which model.

I have noticed the head seems to just not have a hitbox at all. Though I honestly hope you never make headshots a one shot kill. God I hate that in games.
I noticed the hit box is similar to that of Half-Life 2: Deathmatch, as in no matter where I'm hit, I'm still delt the same damage, it all comes down to the strength of your gun, & how far away you are from your opponenet.
Yeah,, and aim for there heart,, at first i would try and get headshots,, but you cant so i just aim for the mid
Ok, now I'm just confused... I thought there were hitboxes. One for the head (very small) and one big one for the body. I'm far more worried about the bug where the hit boxes don't register the hits under certin circumstances. (The last bug I still have yet to catch on video or demo.) (Happens 1 in 8 games roughly)
I dont think the head hitbox is in the correct place when crouching... it seems to be a bit lower... Turrets have problems aqqiring crouched people, and sometimes shots go through the head if you are crouched...
