High Poly NF Shotty Pistol

I made a high poly NF shotty pistol because Walmartgreeter told me to.

If anyone thinks they can make a low poly and texture it PM me for the .obj file.

I dont really want to spend my time doing all that with a game I don't play ;D

 

I made a replacement fire.wav for the NF shotpistol (based off a real Bond Texas Defender) if someone can texture/animate it.

 

The model looks ok to me, but where did you get such a boring concept?

Ah I suggested the Bonds Texas Defender to copyright since our NF shotpistol looks... you know:



It was suppose to be a realistic replacement for the NF shotpistol.

Also, needs two hammers, not one.

 

1 double striker hammer is both more functional and easy to produce

1 hammer with 2 strikers, 1 hits halfway trough and one hits at full close

 

Does NF shotty need a replacement?

 

All NF weapons look a bit...boring, really. Minus the mortar, rocket launcher, pistol1, and HMG.

 

I demand a duckfoot musket pistol.

 

Double...striker...hammer? There's triggers with two pulls to them and other systems to enable firing two barrels with two hammers sep...but a double striker hammer?...

there are hammers with 2 of these, and the hammer can be pulled back in 2 or more steps

all the way back no striker hits a round, halfway trough a striker hits a round and fully closed a striker hits a round

my grandfather had one like them to hunt ducks and swans

it was a double barreled shotgun with 1 trigger and 2 strikes on the trigger

 

Honestly, Side by side with 2 hammers and a double trigger. That's what is needed.

 

So, the last sentance can be true. But physics wise, the rest cannot be. If the hammer hits two rounds at two different times....well, after you fire the first round, the hammer (not striker - get your terminology correct) is now resting against a casing, right? Because it just fired one. How can the hammer move further to hit another round, without drawing the hammer back again and having the hammer on a cam so it can move into a new position to hit the second barrel?

 

The hammer for this gun alternates between two positions after you fire and pull back.

The NF isn't about good engineering; to do this you need a cam on the hammer like what Derringers had. THat's not simple, that's going to break after time. The NF is utilitarian and NOT elegant. Two hammers please...

 

... no one arguing what is better or not. I am merely stating a fact. Check it out yourself.

 

Concept is still boring, and isn't anywhere close to what NF has going for them right now. 2 pages of thread, and only 1 picture. Nice.

 

Front grip might be a nice addition...
