High Latency

Anyone else getting high latency to Empires servers? If I run a ping or tracert to a specific server the the latency is fine, but it's very sporadic ingame and idles around 600ms.

Everything outside of the game runs fine.

 

There have been rolling DDoS attacks on all empires servers, causing lag for all. Stay tuned for more drama.

 

I've got my finger on the trigger.

Try exiting programs that (maybe) can take bandwidth while playing, tho this shouldn't really cause a problem, but you never know.

your gonna want to check your latency with a European place near UK and Chicago, since that's where the 2 top servers are.

 

Ping looks okay, considering the distance.

I guess you're correct. Not quite up to date with all the drama, accidently (shift)deleted sourcemod folder after 2.25 was released.
