    Anyone know where I can get a freeware program of a MIDI to MP3/WAV converter?
    I have been looking only but the amount of shareware fails.

    I know a good converter. Sound Recorder. You know, that thing that came with windows. It takes some work, but it works nice for alot of things.

    1. Set up your recording options right.
    Open up volume control (another windows app)
    File -> properties
    Click the radio button that says recording next to it and press ok.
    One of the sound channel things listed here should say something like "stero mix" or "what you hear." Check the "select" checkbox below this one.

    2. Start sound recorder and set it up.
    Sound recorder has one problem, it will not record past 1 minute. To fix this, record silence for about 10 seconds. Then keep using the slow down option till the length of the sound is greater than the length of the MIDI. Set the current position to the biginning of the blank sound.

    3. Begin recording and play the MIDI. Simple enough. Just make sure no other sounds play during recording.

    4. Trim the sound so that it contains only the MIDI.

    5. Save and enjoy.

    also note that with sound you dont need a midi to something converter as you can just record anything being played on your pc

    MP3myMP3 is another one of those "record anything your computer emits" programs. Free too, and can save as WAV (crashed for me :() and high quality MP3.
