    Yeah i agree, what would really make Empires "sell" is to have tonnes of commander footage, cause that' what makes you want to play the mod. But then again, Knight Templar did (from my rusty memory) get some footage, though I wonder if it would be enough....

    Yeah you need to highlight the RTS format. Show pictures of the tech tree of like plasma cannon the cut to a scene of someone using it.

    good thought simon, excellent.

    currently I don't have any commander demos.

    I keep thinking of scenes I'd like to have had filmed. Like the commander places a lev 3 turret for some players under fire.a small group of people rushing at an engineer and his buddy. the buddy gets cut down, the engineer just makes it to the level 3 turret and builds it, it kills one person, cut to commander view and watch as it kills the other enemies.

    You can't get demos in the commander view because it crashes empires.

    I recorded some stuff with Wegame and I can send Sandbag the source file, though there might be some quality loss :(

    I would but as this film is being "processed" by volunteers with widescreen, It would be entirely selfish to film loads and expect them to process loads. In other words, it's up to them. There's no rush.

    I do need some people to send me commander footage to be honest, Knight Templar had a PERFECT bit of footage on wegame.

    I need one cause fraps sucks :'(

    I say organise another film day, and concentrate it on commander footage, it shouldn't take that long to rack up a few mins worth of footage.

    i'm not much on music, so I cant suggest much. first, see if Spongebob would make some. he seems eager to make good music, and something custom would be great. secondly, if you want to try some epic classical music, contact me.

    I like disturbed songs, but i doubt that will fit in with the video.

    epic classical. if you use a real song, you need to match the trailer to the song, or it comes off as shit. with classical, its just the flow of music, much easier to do, and can truly give an epic feeling if done right.
