When I join a sever, my Empires 1.5 beta closes, and gives me this error for some reason... "Failed to lock index buffer in CMESHDX8::LockIndexBuffer" Could anyone help me please? Thanks.
Do you have a recent version of DirectX installed? 9.0c March 2005 should be absolute minimum. Also make sure to run the latest stable graphics driver for your card (the most recent one isn't always the best option). You could also try to reinstall the mod completely, effectivly resetting everything to default values. .. Do you have any problems running other Steam games / mods?
Yes. I have the recent Direct 9.0c installed, my G-card is radeon 9800 PRO 128mb, its compatable with lots of game, I've played HL2 Recently, and BF2.. I don't think its my graphic card though...
Well it seems that before when i adjusted my screen size to 1280x1024 LCD it worked... but that MEANS I would have to do that everytime then.. And when I did that, half way thorugh, I bought a light tank, drove in it, shot some missles at an enemy base, It crashed, "HL2" Error... Any suggestions? Or just re-installing the mod COMPLETELY.
