Was it changed in 1.05. It seems whenever I try to use the guided (crouched and stationary) it begins to spin horribly out of control at very short distances.

I haven't noticed anything wrong with the Rocket Guide... But I can't remeber anytime useing the rocket guide since 1.05 specificly.
But unguided Cork Screw shots happen a bit more often...Two out of every full load of Max Load w/ Incraese Ammo (10?) didn't do a little twist.

I like it, it makes it seem like the players arms are shaking... I mean honestly... Even if you had bioenhancements and nanochips, do you think you can keep your hand perfectly still?

Btw have you tried guiding it while moving the mouse steadily left or right and seeing if it still goes up and down?

I don't care if it wobbles but the amount of twirling seems to have increased and the distance for it to start twirling seems to have decreased significantly.

kinda defeats the purpose of being a guided missile launcher then, doesn't it?

I've noticed that level 3 turrets have shot down rockets before. That was scary.

If two projectiles collide (or as is the case, come in close proximity to each other) they will both be shot out of the air.

    XD that's a good one.

I never use the guided mode, I always use this.. "I'm feeling lucky" mode. It's just what I'm used to.

pretty much guided offers less control over the rockets than unguided does...

I knew they went haywire after a certain distance but with 1.05, it seems to go haywire almost instantly =/

I think tanks should get a lock warning whenever there's a rocket launcher targetted at them (if possible). On Battlefield 2 I used to beat tanks with a single rocket. I'd just fire once at them. They'd get a lock warning, freak out and run away.
