Guided Missles

    After a little discussion on IRC we came up with this little gem. What if guided missles could lock on to scout marked targets, with this you could fire over hills (ala rocket arty)and would make the scout very usefull

    not to mention the fact that rockets dropping from the sky would look really cool

    Yeah, this would be pretty cool. Would the missiles have some sort of an automatic AI, or would they simply fly high first, and then turn down and lock onto the scout target?

    There seems like you'd need some limitations on it, as there is one thing that scouts are really good at, and that's spotting stuff, I certainly wouldn't want this thing too powerful. Arties can already do what you're describing and they have a long history of over-powered-ness.

    I'm not opposed to the idea, as long as there are limitations to it's application.

    Lol. Why not use artillery feedback with the mortar? You can zone in on the target using the map.
