Grass Texture messing up

Well Any map that has a certain grass texture(don't know the exact name) the grass is all stretched and looks bad. Heres a screenshot...

 

in options under video, what dx level does it say you're using?

 

I strongly believe it's direct X 7 or something at least not 9 is used because Dubee had that same error too.

 

If so try:

right click game in game menu > properties > launch options > type: -dxlevel 90

 

Yes, i think dubee and some other testers had that problem, and it was indeed caused by the videocard using dx7 settings. For them forcing the cards to use dx9 (the way Dee told you to do it) fixed the problem.

 

Just so you know, episode 2 doesn't supports DX 7, so if your videocard is DX 7, get a new one.

 

Yeah I have dx7 I'll try setting it to 9 now.
I'll also be buying a new card soon
