The devs have been working hard cracking down on bugs, and people have been asking where the hotfixes are. Problem is some fixes require server updates, and it would be a pain for server admins to update every time the code gets a fix. Not to mention the fact that some servers would be at different versions, and it would just cause a lot of frustration. Thus, we should open a new round of playtesting to finalize the patches, and possibly release a nice new package all at once. I'm sure a number of people pulling hair because of commander crashes would be more than happy to participate. Who's excited?
The tester hats were standard issue with SVN login details. If you do not have a tester hat, one can only assume that you hacked your way into the tester group, and must be punished.
I found the model for the tester hats hidden away in a folder in the SVN. I have since constructed one and am now wearing it.
Official Emp tester hat: P.S. only devs get to wear a monocle. P.P.S. Every time you encounter a bug, you must yell "BY JOVE!" over the microphone.
Make a Steam event and/or a new thread, so nobody misses it. Beerdude, I don't see the icture you presumably posted.
Mine came with a leash and wooden stake so I can chain the scouts to the base. The only way to free themselves is to go engineer and deconstruct their bindings.
