Have you guyz ever changed the endgame when the other team rushes to get the resource node next to your base in the pregame? Share you're techniques.:D If you've never been on a team that's changed the outcome, discuss what was difficult about it.
Ftw: Sneaking a scout past the front to build a barracks on the res hill near the NF starting point and then ninjaing their comm. Have done it twice. Once, they were artying our base (which I then tactically moved to the upper res hill of BE). The comm vehicle was blinking red and only one more hit would have taken me down. Then, we pwnt their CV. :p
getting an apc early is very expensive and risky, but it is worth it if you succeed. they are much better then jeeps obviously.
I believe I was the scout on that game, who ended up setting the barracks up in the NW. The one where we had made a huge wall up there.
Or you could be an engineer with turret upgrade, take a couple riflemen with you and build a lvl 3 ML turret right at the edge of the cliff so it can rain missiles down on the opposing base :D That's something I've enjoyed doing a few times. One time my turret was attacking the CV and there was only one engineer trying to repair it and no one listened to him as he shouted "YOU FUCKING IDIOT MOVE THE COMM TRUCK!!!11!!!1111" That round ended fairly soon.
He was an engineer, which can drop one (two at rank 4) turret on his own anywhere on the map. And I mean anywhere! Hell ive seen someone put a turret on the roof of that tunnel between second and third flags (from BE side) on escort!
Yeah, it's really fun, but I know I'm ruining other player's gaming experiences so I don't do it anymore, though I probably will if I'm really pissed off at something :D
