Gameinfo.txt & studiocompiler need help

    I am attempting to add some weapon models to empires but when I'm attempting to compile the model using GUIstudioMDL and set the path to the gameinfo.txt I get an error sayin Game Information cannot be found in gameinfo.txt Game/file cannot be loaded or something like that. Nothing I find online really seems to help. I've also tried using studiomdl but when I drag the QC file to it nothing happens. Please help. Thanks.

    I haven't yet touched steampires, I just mod my old 2.31 directory.

    But perhaps you could find something in this thread.

    Also, you might get answers to such questions faster if you pester the folks on the IRC channel. They will love you for it, no doubt. ;)
