What are the most fun armors to use in empires?
    Regen and Reflective.

Because they have means of the user maximizing their effective ness. I propose we try and create armors that function with these sort of gimmicks.
Exsample: Kinetic armor=less damage when the vehicle is moving. faster = stronger. Makes a tank Strong when doing drive bys. but if it holds still to sink a few hits . it's vulnerable

Things like this. lets get some ideas down.

i had an idea about reworking reactive into a super low hp but super high regenerative armor

like, 1/4 average hp, but like 1 second per plate regenerate

as it is technically energy that reacts to a projectile and energy needs to be recharged

some people said it would be ultra super lights etc though...

maybe an armor that loses 1 plate per attack regardless of weapon damage.
So a heavy could take 6 hit warheads to one side. or 6 gren rpg's

    Inverted armor:

Will be damaged very quick by rifles. But missles and canon does no damage.

I can already see tanks getting chased by scouts.

an armor that doesn't break, it also doesnt stop damage hitting the hull but scales it down with like 15% per plate on the side hit

so that damage hits the hull directly, but does considerably less damage

if 1 plate could do like 15% damage reduction to the hull then 6 plates (the max limit on any vehicle) does 90% damage reduction

I still don't see why we don't have depleted uranium armor. :) Heavy as all f*ck but great armor.

    "Depleted uranium - Armour plate

Because of its high density, depleted uranium can also be used in tank armour, sandwiched between sheets of steel armor plate.
For instance, some late-production M1A1HA and M1A2 Abrams tanks built after 1998 have DU reinforcement as part of its armour
plating in the front of the hull and the front of the turret and there is a program to upgrade the rest."

So.. Make the armor plates HEAVY, no extra heat dissipation (since its Fing dense), really high hp with no dmg modifiers.

    Bonus:
*Higher hp = longer aids resist
*Thick armor that has no vulnerabilities other then weight.

    Cons:
*For ever to repair all that hp
    *High weight = less plates
*If you know your enemy has this you know he has crappy weapons or 1X4 plates

Well I figure 1 armor should be a simple damage soaking armor. the rest need to be affected by driver behaver some how.

I find reflective to be a bit random to be honest, since NF started favoring superlights it's become a bit hard to actually aim your armor, fighting is too mobile now for that to be effective, the best you can do is just keep one side on the enemy, and you can't always do that.

And I can't honestly think of anything other than regeneration to have as an ability.

FROST ARMOR! - touch the enemy with your tank and you just pealed off one armor plate from you and your enemy! (ohh wait thats called ramming)

Time Distortion Armor - You might not feel the damage now but, in a random moment you will, Maby even before you get it.

Snakes Armor - Drive around in tank Covered by a BIG cardbord box.

    ...
    delayed effect arrmor...
makes all attacks dmg over time...
    Thats clever.
turns all attacks into a non stacking bio.
    I like it!
you could take huge amounts of punishment but only for a short period of time.

    Shrapnel Armor
when you get hit, parts of the armor gets blown off damaging any infantry and turrets nearby.
Good against grenadiers and riflemen with sticky bombs

However the armor is really weak, but will not absorb heat. Kinda light like composite
Bio weapons will not trigger the armor's effect. HE will only promote to more speedy and lethal shrapnel.

    Plasma Armor
between the layers of plain armor is plasma. When hit, the plasma flies out heating any tanks in sight. Also will overheat turret for a few seconds

However armor absorbs a lot of heat due to the plasma. Not damaged by bio or plasma weapons, except the first layer. MGs will not trigger effect.

Make sure to get a good engine

Rubber Armor - for all those people who uses jeeps and plan to disrupt arty tanks aiming

Makes your vehicle super bouncy. When ramming into a vehicle, you and the enemy will fly a couple of meters
No collision damage. Extremely weak against missiles and cannons. MG bullets will go directly through the armor and damage the vehicle, however it will damage the armor.
No weight added. Flying rubber will knock infantry backwards and cause some damage. Also when ramming into infantry, it will not kill the infantry but make them fly really far. How far they go depends on how much armor you put on it. When the vehicle does not have anymore rubber armor, it will run over infantry regularly.

Heat-transfering armor. Makes you overheat instead of taking damage. So damage is instead converted into heat.

Heat-dispersion armor. You could also do it the other way around, you can fire while overheated but you will take damage yourself then. (this sounds more like an engine thou)

Vampiric armour. You gain hp equal to 10% of the damage dealt to other tanks.

Bouncing armour. Whenever you're hit by a missile or cannon shell there is a 10-20% chance it will bounce of you, possible damaging enemy units when doing so.

Royal armor. Boost all nearby friendly tanks with an aura of some sort.

    Rubber Armour

Description: Lightweight and poor protection, but you can ram others for extra damage without taking damage yourself. It's like bumper cars!

    Armour weakness: Plasma.

    Work together armor:
Low standard hit points. But with every friendly tank near, the armor will be increased.

    Intelligent armor:
Damage is distributed equally to all sides.

    Gulping armor:
Incoming canon and missles will do normal damage but also be added to own ammo.

    Ghost armor:
After some hits the tanks becomes unvisible and indestructible for some seconds.

    Ghost armor II:
Same as ghost armor, but friendly tanks also damage this tank. So 2 tanks can shoot on each other and run into enemy base.

    Charged armor:
Infantry will be hurted if near by electrical discharge. Effect will increase dramatically if very near to tank. This will make stickys very difficult.

    Magnetic armor:
Many hit points but all missles and canons in a certain range will be pulled to this tank. Will be usefull for a supporting tank behind frontlines.

cloaking armor is interesting... a weak standard armor that gives the tank a certain transparency
