I found this really cool tower defense game on the web. For all of you who didn't play the classic tower d maps made for Warcraft 3, the object is to keep all the "creeps" from getting to the other side of the map. You do this by making mazes with towers in order to divert, and eliminate them. This flash game has a cool feature where you can record your high scores in a group. Pfft, it's too easy. I only managed to get a score of 7700 with the top scores getting around 9000. The trick is to build a bunch of cheap dart towers to form a winding path for the creeps to go through. Then drop a couple squirt towers and upgrade them to level 5 as soon as you can. Then keep building more squirt towers and upgrade. All of the other towers are worthless. The squirt towers are easily the best.
I suck, tried copying Krenzo's pattern; apparently the game gave me a warning saying "Warning: Currently your mount of fail exceeds the applicable limit to use the grandmaster's pattern"
woo! 4612! (edit: not recent) Krenzo mis-typed his strats; a minor typo that throws off the reader. The key is miles and miles of pellet towers, not dart towers. And yes, squirt towers ftw. He's pretty much got the game nailed. The thing is to realize not to even bother making something non-pellet unless it's going to be upgraded almost to level 6. This holds especially true for squirts, which will make or break your game. The top scorers use squirts and supplement this defense with the occasional frost- don't build multiple frosts as I stated earlier- this is teh fail. Just build the one, and upgrade this. It's far cheaper then a bunch of level ones. Same for swarm towers. I haven't found any use whatsoever for the bash towers or the dart towers. Just take a look at the top scores and it becomes obvious how to win. edit: oops, i put my name in as empiresmod and didn't enter a group. oh well-- 4714 is my best so far. double edit: much changed strats. new score: 6000ish.
I found this dealt with all air, including final boss: in the center, make a 3x3 square of fully upgraded swarm towers.
