I'm 16 years old. My favorite beer is the ROOT!!! oh god someone help me. THOUGH, I have had a swig of the heineken and St. Paulis girl or some shit. Yay for German bier (NO TYPO). I don't plan on drinking even when I'm the legal age though. Go ahead and bludgeon me now, but I will state, all my friends are avid drinkers, and I have come to a mutual agreement with myself that if I end up like them, I shall do my best Armin Miewes impression by chopping the penis off of a homless person and sauteeing it for my own consumption.

i started drinking when i was 15 and have never looked back, my favourite beer comes from india and is called cobra, goes great with a ruby. although when im out down the boozer or club then i drink coronas, there nice and light dont bloat you out like a lot of beers do, which is handy when im giving it large on the dance floor

Where have UK bitters and ales got to in this debate?
There are over 2000 ale brewreys in the UK, and it is somthing that you wont get anywhere else in the world. To name a couple (old speckeled hen, bishops finger, spitfire, adnams broadside, tangle foot, blabla, I could go on for ever,, ),
I thouroughly recomend trying an authentic uk ale at some point, if you ever come this way, propper beer :D

Dee : You only live once, you might as well make it as short as possible ;)

Hmm... quite old, but a good thread :D.

My Favorite beer at the moment is Appenzeller Vollmond. It's from Switzerland.
Another beer I like very much is Moosehead from Canada.

German beer ftw! The pisswater that is American beer shouldn't even be in the same category.

I don't count Miller or Bud as beer.

Indeed, if you haven't stopped by an American microbrewery, you don't actually know what American beer is.

    Fools.

Don't judge our culture by its exports, judge it by what the locals actually enjoy.

First im born in bavaria, that means i have beer in my genes. :)

    My favs are:

    1) Naabecker: a little brewery 50 kilometers away from the town i live in.
    2) The beer of a tiny brewery in my hometown, you only get it in their tavern.
    3) Becks: North german pils
    4) Elephant Beer: dont know where its origin but its awesome
    5) Budweiser: Not the american one but the original czech one.
    6) Krombacher: A middle german Weizen (dont know how to translate)
    7) Desperados: Its a tequila flavored beer :) nice

For the total ruin i recommend Pilsator its a german beer with about 10%o

    what the fuck is hobgoblin?
