fast mods

    are there any mods out there that are maybe 3x or 5x the speed of regular mods?

    Rocket Crowbar, Ragnarok Arena (WARNING: May contain traces of furries). Both for the original Half-Life. Ahhh, the good old days...

    Have you played Unreal Tournament or Quake?

    I assumed he meant HL2-mods. I don't think Empires is very fast, just the fastest one I've played in terms of movement speed.

    best mod ever.

    i'm serious. can you dualweild desert eagles and throw katanas or giant sledgehammers or bounce of walls or use railguns and flamethrowers in empires?

    TF2 is about as fast paced as I've seen the Source engine go.

    UT3. nothing I have ever played is faster than double jumping like a mad man, getting blasted into a wall midair, in a rockets match. Its nuts. Hell, people use the aircraft for roadkill!

    disagree. ut3 is much slower than 2k4 maybe even slower than ut itself. cod4 is quite hectic on a filled dm server, same for tf2 the explosion/flying body part per second count is really astonishing.

    Yeah but he's talking about fast paced Source mods. :p

    But yeah stuff like UT & Quake are probably the only fast paced games out on the market nowadays. (No reloading FTW!!!)

    But in my opinion it just depends on how you play the game.

    the origional UT, 130% speed, godlike settings.

    i remember ending a game and my hand shaking from adrenaline..
