Extra chassis breaks my BE Heavy/arty

    When I added 5 more chassis per team (lt/afv mk3,4 Med tank MK2,3) I can no longer build a heavy tank ,an arty tank or a Med mk3. It crashes after I try to press next when done with weapon groupings. This only happens on BE. By only reverting vehicle_chassis the heavy and arty work again.

    Is this due to some arbitrary restriction in the code? If not, is there anything I can do to get around it?

    do your _preset files still work for your "different" chassis?

    make sure the first chassis' are still in the same order that they started in.

    In other words, make sure that you added all of your chassis to the bottom most part of the scripts. The game uses a code side index to determine some stuff, and it may cause problems for the chassis to be changed, especially if the indexes aren't dynamically maintained.

    Added 2 crash logs to mantis 0001530. The bottom 2 are the ones (some of the rest are also the same crash). Last one is after moving them to the bottom of their categories

    Out of curiosity, how many total chassis do you have (total, for both teams)?

    EDIT: And what number are the BE Heavy/arty in your script? Are the at the bottom of the script, or are they in the middle?

    31. 14 NF 15BE 2CVs. This counts the Plasma apcs and the AFV test that are in there for some reason.

    My chassis are all Mk#'s and are next to their respective chassis in the middle. The BE Heavy, Arty, Med MKIII are the last 3 on BE and they don't work. They're the only ones that don't work. NF counterparts work fine.

    is there a 30 chassis limit or something?
    14 chassis each team + 2 comms?

    30 wouldn't make any sense. Maybe 32.

    no, the limit is 128, I already thought about that.

    it has to do with the chassis "types" you have to select i think, they only go up to 8 or so described (with 0 being cv i think)

    Here you go, I included all 3 crashes.(they probably all crash for the same reason but better to be thorough)

    You need to set up the default presets as well. That is why it is crashing.

    ? I didn't even touch anything of my heavy tank or arty... And when I remove my extra chassis from vehicle_chassis the heavy tank/arty don't crash it...
