I am proud to announce the Continued Existence of EPIC clan... As you may have guessed, we are reasonably well established clan, a opponent not to be miscalculated, the core of our clan efforts driven by teamwork, skill and foolhardiness, called by some epicness, in the case of some of our members. We are for the moment not open to applications, however if you have an interest in joining, and meet the criteria as an experienced, capable player, you should either check out the steam community page (pretty easy to find) or add me, or one of the other members of the clan on Steam, and we'll talk from there. As well as this, we are always on the lookout for good players ingame, so keep on your toes. Thats all for now, so see you all in action! Thanks to all those responsible for the locking of the last thread. Love you guys! /sarcasm The EPIC clan website has been encountering some trouble recently, between spambots, animefags, expiring hosting and D.D.D Destroyer, who pervades like a bad smell, who fortunately seems to have been dissipated by our change in address, that being temporarily www.epic-empires.co.uk We are always open and usually ready for scrims, so come drop us a challenge in the appropriately named forum. (although usually scrims with us tend to be organised on the spur of the moment over steamfriends, so don't forget to try nagging Trickster as well)
Round 2... FIGHT! Just kidding. I hope you have some training program for your recruits. Some of your RCT's are... questionable.
Hmm. Maybe I should join a different clan. Can't participate in any clan scrims if I'm part of the population of 3 Hz# lol.
only if you put our tag before Hz's oh, we should really stop posting in here. (final post of bslaps' in this thread)
Actually, I have had access to that domain for a long time before I met napalm, it has nothing to do with him. If you head over to go-daddy.com, ask to buy the site, it will say its leased and has been since march 2007.
If i were you guys i'd have a scrim. It's the best training you'll ever have, and way more fun to participate in. And everyone knows you can't lose from JPL anyway, so ...
If you want to be as good as CW: http://www.commwarriors.com/wiki/index.php/Clan_Match_Information#Practices Armory hunt: Using "host_timescale 4", as server admin, one team constructs three bases composed of armories on "emp_duststorm". One team will attempt to defend the armories on foot. Another team is to destroy as many of the armories as possible using only one APC (without any weapons loaded), and infantry. The "armory bases" should have a barracks near so that the defending team can "suicide-spawn" to where the attacking team is.
No we didn't demo the practices. Silk made us a few turret destruction practice maps though that are out there somewhere. Like 2 teams race to clear a field of lvl1s, lvl2, lvl3 mgs, etc
TBH FBs formation training is probably the best use of time for getting good at empires. You know what they say. The team that can walk in the straightest single file line will probably win.
I've never remembered such a thing happening in practices. But I do remember that they didn't help at all.
