Alright, something I thought I'd point out. The bottoms across the top of the page are * Download Client * Download Server * Forums * Wiki * Quick Start Guide It should be more like * Main/Home * News * Wiki * Media * Download Client * Download Server * Forums * Quick Start Guide Possibly move the quickstart guide to somewhere on the Download page or leave it at the start of the wiki. Why should this be changed? In general, people read from left to right. I think that the left side should be info on getting out general information and updates, followed by guides and then screenshots and videos. After all of this, the Download is last. You might even concider taking the server download off of the main tabs and putting it somewhere else, but whatever. Another change: The news page, have it show the full articles, with a list of articles on the side so you don't have to click a "read more" button.
I organized the link in this manner because I wanted the most important ones (Download, Forums, Wiki, and Quick Start Guide) as prominent as possible. If I was going to give someone a short list of important Empires info/links, these would be it. Main/Home, news, and media are important, but I don't think they deserve the same degree of prominence. Also, pretty much all of that information is included in the sidebar. I might include an explicity link to the Main/News page (they are the same thing), but its not a serious problem since you can get their by clicking the logo.
Yeah, the 'read more' has to go. It's not like the news is updated weekly or anything, and it's usually important when it is updated.
