Yeah, Americans would be outnumbered badly not to mention it wouldn't be as much fun, with the Americans playing when the Euros are sleeping and vice versa. Also, it's pretty irrelevant who is on top right now as the server will get restarted before we begin. I just want to get a bit familiar with it before the real thing and check if there are any bugs. Is the Galaxy going to be smaller when we begin? 9x499 seems a bit too much. And why are there 21 slots in each system?
21 slots in each system? I'll fix that, there should only be 16. The 9x499 is standard, and it lets people hide away a planet or 2. I'd be open to condensing it if people wanted though, but I want to do this before we start. We have 14 signed up now, and as I said, I'm aiming for 20, so if we can get a few more that'd be great.

Realistically, I'm aiming for tomorrow (Sunday) around evening-time where I am, so probably 16:00 GMT, 11am EST, 8am PST. It's not an ideal time but I don't have a huge window of when I can start it. But don't take those times as set in stone, because they aren't. They could change, but I'll make sure to let you know. But honestly, we desperately need people to sign up for this or it won't work. We need at least 20 to start, and it only really hits its stride when you have around 30. Speak to people you know, spam on IRC, spam ingame, anything, just get the numbers up.
